You can't go back in time and prevent your parents from having you

The BBC is reporting interesting research news, saying that a new quantum mechanical model suggests that you can't go back in time and stop yourself from being born.

That is, whatever you do in the past, has to be consistent with the future. It's a premise that was suggested in the terrific Sci-Fi novel "Timescape", that the past and the present had to be free of paradox

Asylum has an interesting article on the clumsiest attempts of men to impress the women they desire, harvested from fascinating reader stories.

It's hard to believe, sometimes, what men think will attract them to women. For example, the first reader describes a terrible attempt at seduction when a mildewy-smelling dude whispered in her ear 'It's because my balls sometimes get stuck to the side of my leg' as an explanation to why his leg was shaking
