Who best represents your gender?

One of the random thoughts that popped into my head the other day was who would I choose to be the quintessential role model for my gender? There are plenty of role models in sports, the arts, entertainment, fashion, politics and science, but I was trying to nail down someone who I thought best encapsulated the essence of each gender. Who are the representatives that each gender aspires to be?
It was a pretty interesting exercise and I actually found it very difficult to think of anyone who was a completely well rounded representative of females. I was considering Jackie Onassis as a candidate. She had a strong character, was intelligent and beautiful. But I really don’t know enough about the ole Jackie O. It is all too easy for the press, writers and journalists to have embellished her virtues and forgotten any flaws.
As far as modern female role models are concerned I’m stumped. You’d think that there would be an abundant supply of celebrities and public figures that would fit the bill, but everyone that I think of has their flaws. I suppose as humans we all have our flaws, so choosing the ultimate woman is going to be near impossible.
So if I can’t list the ultimate woman, I guess the bigger question is what are the virtues that I consider to be the most important for a woman? What is it that women and men look for in a role model? In my opinion, the ultimate woman would be someone with a perfect balance of morals, intelligence, confidence and beauty.
There is far more to being a woman than being the poster girl bimbo with the perfect hair and pouty smile. I consider natural beauty to be a criteria in my definition of the ultimate female, but it certainly isn’t the one and only important factor. A good sense of what is right and wrong, a brain and confidence in both mentally and physically will far outweigh any beauty considerations.
Anyway, I’m interested in what others have to say about their gender representatives and what are the virtues most important to you in your decision? Who do the guys think is the ultimate man?
For comparisons sake throw into the ring who you think is the best representative of the opposite gender. We might come up with some interesting results.

Lara Croft. If you can ignore the fact that the MEN who designed her gave her double-D cups for boobs. She encompasses what women want to be: strong, intelligent, independent, and driven by a desire to make things right. (Also, her character design has matured to the point where, if real, she would be considered "beautiful" rather than "slutty")
Funny, I can only think of fictional characters.

It's really hard actually, but here goes..
Maybe Bill Clinton, Douglas Macarthur, Hugh Jackman or Colin Firth.
Or Rachel Ward, Sarah Michelle Gellar or Evangeline Lilly (Kate from Lost).
