Indie Love Movies

Considering the regional climate at the moment, The Syrian Bride is a pretty appropriate movie which highlights the tensions that exist between Israeli and Syrian communities.
Mona's wedding day was the saddest day of her life. She knew that once she crosses the border between Israel and Syria to marry Tallel, she will never be able to go back to her family in Majdal Shams, a Druze village in the Israeli occupied Golan Heights.
I really enjoyed this movie and would definately recommend it for viewing.
First there was Brokeback Mountain, now there's The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green another gay cult classic to grace the big screen.
Based on the hit underground comic strip, this hilarious, gay romantic comedy follows the story of Ethan Green, an adorable 26-year-old professional 'assistant' looking for love in all the wrong places. As Ethan continues to search for a new love (and possibly a new place), friends around him hook up, break up, make up and shake up their lives.
Through it all, Ethan has the dependable Hat Sisters (posing as his aunties), for sound advice and his gay-wedding planner Mom to ground him in reality.
I haven't seen TMULOEG but it sounds like a hoot.
