Another one for the 'government grants to fund obvious research' category: apparently, men like long legs.

I've got nothing against research, but this seems like such an obvious result, with just a touch of statistics. Let me break it down for you:
200 men and women were shown two pictures of the same person of the opposite sex. The pictures were altered so one had longer legs, but appeared to have the same height. The volunteers were asked to state which picture was more attractive.
Yes! A breakthrough! Both sexes claimed that the longer legs were more attractive!
But wait - there's more! If the length of the legs were increased by 5%, that was sexy. If increased to 15% or greater, it was unsexy.
What? How is that possible? You mean people aren't attracted to others with freakishly long legs? That can't be!
No, this is good news. I've recently bought a leg stretching machine, and we've been working past stretching my legs out 7% - with this new stunning research, I have to stop here. I wanted to go as high as 30%, but the machine has a built-in safety switch. Damn!
Hopefully, these same geniuses will finally crack the mystery of men and their attention to big breasts. Every time I see a large pair, I'm sexually confused. I need some scientists to tell me how I'd act and then explain it.
