More Confidence Building Tips

Yesterday I introduced the notion of improving self confidence in order to help achieving success in establishing romantic connections. This post goes through some observations of those people that are confident in order to provide some ideas as to how you can emulated their confident aires.
So what are some of the characteristics of a confident person?
Its in the way they speak
1) Learn a new word a week (use a dictionary!) and take every opportunity to use it. Yes, it does sound like something out of that horrible 90s teen flick, Clueless, but it does work in terms of developing your vocabulary. Self expression is very important for developing a great first impression. If you've got a vocal repetoire to call upon which you are comfortable with using, you'll up the pulling stakes for sure.
2) Practise speaking up, letting your voice pump up by standing tall, really pump up the volume.
Its in the energy they seem to have
1) Make the most of every day - get fit, take fitness classses, weights, running. Sieze the day... or if you're using that extended vocabulary Carpe Diem.
2) Avoid couch potato activities. Sitting in front of a computer or watching the tv all day is not going to simulate you, mentally or physically. try out a few random activities which challenge you.
Its in their enthusiasm
1) It's easy to sound enthusiastic if you add words like 'love' and 'enjoy' and 'really' to your sentences and avoid put-downs and sarcasm.
2) Get interested in people and the world around you, then you'll find it easy to be enthusiastic. Again trying a few different activities to spice up your week will provide a few great avenues to meet new people and experience things you may not normally do.
It in their mastery of activities
1) Rather than getting involved in everything and anything, focus on those activites which really interest you. Take up a new interest, buy or borrow magazines to find something that interests you and then become an expert - it doesn't have to be expensive - just take the time to be curious.
