These are some more tips for figuring out how a girl feels about you. The first three tips can be found in this previous post – Signs That Say She Likes You. Body language and flirting can be hard to decipher. Is she twirling her hair in utter boredom or is she trying to subtly give you a sign? There are many behavioural traits as well as blatant things women may say or do when they’re trying to send out a message that they’re enjoying your company. Picking up on these signals and reading them correctly can help you figure out what is her opinion of you.
4) She makes physical contact.
I know that sounds like a line out of Star Trek, but I couldn’t think of a better way of wording it. What I mean is that she makes an effort to physically touch you even in the case of an excuse. She may glance your hand during conversation, grab you on the dancefloor or do something completely non chalent such as brushing off some lint from your shirt. Whatever the form of physical contact it is a sign of comfort and security. When you get to know someone and have developed a sense of trust, you’ll automatically become more open to sharing personal space and making physical contact. You don’t go walking down the street and hugging complete strangers. Neither would a girl who doesn’t feel some level of intimacy and trust with you.
5) Check out her hands.
Hands can be a very sensual part of the anatomy and they’ll give you a bit of an idea as to where her mind is at. If her hands are clenched she’s probably not very comfortable. It may be that she is just shy or just wary, but it could also be a sign that she’s not comfortable talking with you. On the other hand, if you notice her hands are relaxed and open it is a sign that she is relaxed and carefree. If you notice her caressing her glass or playing with her hair, these are usually signs that she’s flirting. When it comes to the hands, clenched, finger drumming, pointing and wagging are all generally signs that she’s bored or not terribly excited by you. Open gestures are a sign that things are going well.

Posture is a good body language sign to indicate what is going on in someone’s mind. The other great thing is that you can easily read someone’s body language based posture by considering your own posture. Posture is a universal trait amongst males and females. When someone is relaxed their shoulders drop. If they’re interested in what you are saying, they’ll lean in slightly. If they’re tired or bored they’ll tend to hunch back and go into an ultra relaxed posture. Think about your posture during different experiences and determine how you were feeling when you were in that position. Extrapolating someone’s thoughts from their posture is probably one of the easiest exercises in assessing their interest.
