If you fancy yourself as a bit of a player, or you just want to some tips for picking up women and improving your success read on. I’ve come up with 5 no-fail rules. There are a few things that many men seem to repeatedly do wrong when they try to pick up girls.
1. Never look at the ground or at your shoes while talking to a woman. This is a sign of insecurity and they will pick up on this, even if only sub-consciously. Instead, try to make occasional eye contact. Constant eye contact is a little creepy and kind of intimidating. But a few extended glances can do the trick. Eye contact is a sign of confidence. A bit of practice and you’ll be ‘Blue Steel’-ing your way into any girl’s heart.
2. Never talk about how cool, mean, bad, tough or strong you are. She’ll think that you’re full of yourself. Similarly, don’t go overboard with the stories about what you have or have done. People get turned off when they’re talking to someone new who starts every sentence with “I.” By all means tell her about yourself, but be aware not to go overboard. Make sure the conversation is two way and show interest in her life, passions, interests and whatever else she’s got to say.
3. Smile that big broad smile. Smile constantly, compulsively, obsessively. While your talking, while your observing, while your doing just about anything, make sure that you are smiling, laughing and generally look like you’re having the time of your life. Which one would think that you are. Smiling is the most powerful weapon in any man’s arsenal. It let's the women know that your probably a fun guy to be around and someone they would like to know or be involved with. It shows confidence, popularity and interest. People are naturally drawn to anyone who is the life of the party.
4. When deciding whether or not to approach a particular woman, just assume that she is interested in you and act the same way you would with a woman that you know for a fact is interested in you. This will give you confidence and the woman will pick up on this, in turn making her more attracted to you. Taken too far you may come off as arrogant so lets not take it to the extreme. Assume she’s attracted to you, not fighting every urge to tear off your clothes on the spot.
5. While at a dance club, never attempt to approach women as you would in any other setting. The rules of engagement in a night club are completely different to any other arena. Actually, in a dance club picking up women is decidedly easier. Simply begin to dance and they will come to you. Introductions and chit chat can be done later at the bar. If a woman shows interest in you on the dance floor do not assume this is carte blanche for all those grinding, dry humping moves. Keep it clean and you’ll be more likely to win her over. Let her invade your personal space. It is far better to play a little hard to get than come across as the desperate sleaze in the middle of the dance floor. Getting up and dancing is one of the most effective tactics to use when trying to meet women in nightclubs. Most men hate dancing and women seem to love it. So when the odd male strays onto the dancefloor, those girls gobble him up. Of course, in order to utilize the dancefloor you must first learn to dance. The good news is you don't have to dance well to attract women, it's not how you dance that attracts them... it's the confidence you display when you hit the D-floor.
